I was extremely fortunate to grow up in a family who was in the music industry, offering me unique opportunities to be surrounded by some of the finest musicians in the world. From an early age, I began taking private instruction from world renown players and teachers, both drumkit & hand percussion, focusing on a myriad of styles and pedagogue, ranging from jazz & fusion to rock & Latin percussion. I started my first garage band in the eighth grade and began playing clubs throughout the Hollywood Strip while in high school, at places such as: The Whiskey, The Roxy, House of Blues, Troubador, etc. Also, during this time, I became a highly sought-after drum teacher throughout Orange County, developing an impressive reputation for my ability to customize my teaching style around each student’s goals and needs. In addition to my extensive experience working with all levels and ages, I have also spent years teaching kids drums who are on The Spectrum (ASD), with great success. After college, I started a unique business, in which I coordinated teenage musicians of varied talent levels into their own rock bands. I guided them on how to play/write music together, then used my studio to record their final songs, followed by a live showcase to perform for their friends & family. My musical venture received a lot of publicity through regional/statewide interviews & write-ups along with being commended by local politicians. As you can see, playing and teaching drums is my passion, and I look forward to sharing that with you!!
